Tatiana Samouil, Belgian by adoption and Russian-Moldovan by origin, leads a versatile career: she plays as a soloist with the most prestigious orchestras, participates in festivals as a chamber musician all over the world and is a renowned teacher.

Born in St Petersburg, Tatiana studied in Moldova and then continued in Moscow; after obtaining her Soloist Diploma with Honors from Moscow Conservatory, in the class of professor Maja Glezarova, she has met the legendary violinist Igor Oistrakh and decided to become his student at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels .

Tatiana is prize winner of the seven most famous international competitions, such as the Queen Elisabeth Competition, where she is serving as a member of the jury. Having recorded more than 20 cds for various disc houses Tatiana has received numerous awards: Diapason d'or, Choc de Classica, Prix Caecilia, Jocker of Crescendo.

Currently she is a professor at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and at the Center Superior des Arts Musikene (San Sebastián).

Tatiana is playing on Michele Deconet violin made in Venise in 1745.
