The Spanish instrumental and vocal ensemble Forma Antiqva was founded 20 years ago by brothers Aarón, Daniel and Pablo Zapico. It is considered one of the most important and influential classical music companies in Spain, covering the full spectrum of the 17th and 18th centuries.

The ensemble not only graces the stages of renowned theaters in Spain, but their adventurous spirit also takes them to international stages, where they are ambassadors of Spanish heritage. Forma Antiqva presents daring programs and cross-genre projects at renowned festivals in Europe and Latin America. For example, they opened the Jazzaldia Festival in San Sebastián, performed live music for historical films and created unique performances in honor of Martin Scorsese with music from the Italian Seicento.

The ensemble is appreciated for its quality, creativity and daring programming. The innovative projects have resulted in several nominations for the International Classical Music Awards.
