Cheuk Hin Keith Ng is an upcoming percussionist dedicated to captivating audiences with his unique sensitivity and fervent passion. He won the 2nd prize at the 2022 TROMP International Percussion Competition and has performed in the 2023 IPEA International Percussion Festival in Shanghai, 2024 Amsterdam Marimba Weekend and several solo concerts within the Netherlands.
Besides, he is one of the members of the Bang Percussion Trio and Amswave Trio, and has also performed with the Asko Schoenberg Ensemble and Atlas Ensemble on several major occasions, for instance Zaterdag Matinee in Het Concertgebouw and Oranjewoud Festival.
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Keith earned his bachelor’s degree at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and is currently pursuing his master’s degree at the same school with Rachel Zhang, Laurent Warnier, Agostinho Sequeira and Arnold Marinissen. Keith is playing on an Adams marimba on loan from Nationaal Muziekinstrumenten Fonds (NMF).
